Positive: I’ll Palagio Vecchio was a wonderfully relaxing retreat. It was close enough to Florence to allow for exploration of city, as well as the many Tuscan hill towns in the region. The host Maurizio, his wife and the the other B&B staff were delightful and gracious. The historic Palagio was beautifully and painstakingly restored, as well as decorated with wonderful art and furnishings. Breakfasts were always fabulous, and prepared us for a day of adventures in region or staying and relaxing on the premises.
Negative: It is difficult to think of something we did not like about the property.

Positive: Absolutely stunning property! We could not rate it highly enough, everything was amazing. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful, our room was beautiful as was the rest of the building which has been decorated so well, and breakfast was great. We would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Positive: Loved the whole ambiance and brilliant kind hosts. The quality of the sympathetic refurb was exception and demonstrated a passion for the building …The terrace overlooking Florence echoes its past as a home for one of the minor Medici family in the hills above the city… We visited the MotoGP at Mugello only 30 mins away … The attention to detail, is astonishing modern and ancient in harmony. There is a family restaurant very close by which is about as authentic Tuscan family as you could want … (biscotti to die for ) …
Negative: Could do with better access road but I am guessing that’s quite an issue because it’s shared … so not a big deal just an observation … Freddy the hired Fiat got his bottom scraped on some of the ruts, but this is the Tuscan hills not Mayfair 😂
