Positive: We had a great time! The view was amazing and the place was very relaxing. It was nice to have a swim, cuddle the dogs and relax under olive trees.

Negative: We left a bit earlier than planned, but that was only because it was quite exhausting to drive around the area with a small child, that needed his afternoon nap. It had absolutely nothing to do with the accommodation!

Positive: The accommodation is located in a great peaceful setting. The property description indicated that the pool would only be available as of July, but we were pleasantly surprised it was up and running during our visit at the last week of June (2024). Due to our flight time we had to check in at 01:00 and the property was very accommodating. The room had a mini fridge & we found cold water waiting for us. We were allowed to make use of a kitchen and outdoor dining table on a covered patio, with a great view! Highly recommended!

Positive: Calm, relaxing place, great view, the room was modern, nice, we had great time, highly recommended!

Negative: Watch out your navigation, especially at dark times, as some of the approach roads are very narrow in the fields. Choose always the bigger roads! Anyway, the place is worth the drive :)

Positive: We had little expectations when we first arrived at Il Colle degli Ulivi. We expected a simple place with a good host, high on the hills over Tropea. But what we found was ten times better. Francesco is a wonderful man creating a little corner of peace and relaxation, brick by brick, with dedication and kindness, which we appreciate the most. He has never been short of suggestions, tips, and indications to make our stay unforgettable. The room was well equipped, with all the necessaire, aircon and fridge. Despite the tough temperatures of 37° and beyond, the room was always fresh and cosy every time we returned from the beach. It is far from generous to say that the view is beautiful, 'cause every time we left our room we got our breath taken from the charm of the land and the far-away sea view. On top of that, we enjoyed spending lazy hours on the grass next to the pool, reading and sleeping for a very needed peaceful time. We thank Francesco for having invested time and resources in creating such a quiet, peaceful corner of Calabria.
