Positive: I can't praise this place highly enough. Carlo was a charming host and was there when we arrived. The rooms are beautifully decorated with high attention to detail, and the beds were super-comfortable. No breakfast supplied but tea and coffee in the room with lots of snacks, plus there's a coffee machine in the reception area. Great location near the cathedral and castello. We loved it and wished we could stay longer!

Negative: No negatives!

Summary: Wonderful, centrally located place to stay. Highly recommended!

Positive: Clean room near the center. Friendly personnel, the few seconds that there was an interaction, as there was seldom anyone present.

Negative: The host completely offloaded the registration process onto the customer, which in my opinion is not nice at all, as the customer is not paid for doing office work on behalf of the host. On top of that, the online registration was complicated (see this vikey company which was entrusted with the procedure). The access via phone was also convoluted, and required a cell phone with a working internet connection, the first time. The WiFi did not work, on the first day. After complaints on our part, it worked on the second day, but required lots of personal data, like email and phone number. This makes no sense to me, as usually the guest just provides network name and password without forcing the customer to go through yet another registration portal. The shower can be hard to access if a person has physical issues.

Positive: I didn’t have breakfast there but everything about it was exceptional. The owner Carlo could not have been nicer or more helpful. The cleaner Carlotta was the same. I much enjoyed my visit.

Negative: Nothing. Everything was good.

Positive: Perfect location for a one night in Ferrara! Very authentic place, well kept and with all you need. Cozy rooms. Water dispenser in the common area to refill our water bottles for the day and complementary coffee,tea and small snacks.

Negative: The check-in procedure relies on your mobiles phones not running out of charge but we didn’t have any problems and the owner was there to welcome us. Small remark, there was no mirror in the room.
