Summary: Staying at IKAL has been a life changing experience. Before I arrived I wasn’t sure what to expect because there were such mixed reviews about the place. But if there is a paradise on earth, it might be exactly at IKAL. The vibe, the atmosphere of relaxation and presence is just something that your soul has really been longing for. The service is great, and the stuff is very helpful. There is no problem of check in via WhatsApp, very easy and very convenient for all parties. It is clean, the access isn’t that difficult at all. The opportunities for yoga and workshops, so beautiful. Great food at the restaurant, good service as well. Everything is pricey yes. But once you are there, you’ll know it is all worth it. It is such a tranquil and rejuvenating place. Their cancellation policies are inflexible and I had to check out one night earlier, yet they still gave me a discount. IKAL is like a sacred bobble, it gives you time and space to meet yourself.

Summary: This was honestly the best hotel stay. I originally booked for 2 nights but tried to add one night but i made a mistake. The staff really tried to fix everything ahead of us getting there. Even though they are booked they moved around the rooms so we could stay in the same room. Their service is excellent. But i have to say i admire the cleaning staff the most. The property was right on the beach i had to walk through sand to step into my garden suite. Tried as i might but i kept getting sand all over the room. Everyday i come back after the room cleaning all the sand is gone in the room!! I know it must be very difficult to do so kudo to the staff. Also our pool in the garden is cleaned everyday perfectly! We enjoyed the mayan ritual offered by the hotel. If there's a minor complaint the shower pressure can be better. Otherwise we loved it and we hope we can come can soon!

Summary: This entire property is dreamy! We stayed at the glamping cabins and it was an amazing experience. The only think I wish the cabin had was a mirror. Also the food service was often pretty to slow but other than that we really enjoyed our stay!
