Summary: Hotel was in a great position in town and had a good sized room and bed . Our stay included breakfast but instead of a buffet breakfast at the hotel it was in the cafeteria next door attached to the hotel. It wasn't clear for a foreign traveller as to what we could have as it wasn't a buffet. A piece of paper with some clear choices would have been helpful. What we got was fine and adequate but the process detracted from the ambiance of the hotel.

Summary: Pretty good stay, everything is walkable distance, and the view was gorgeous! The only thing was a dripping sound in our room that we didn’t know where it came from and you could hear when the toilet flushes in another room.

Summary: When I went to take a shower the shower was clogged so I couldn't take my shower. They offered to give me a different room "to take a shower"?? i just left without my shower.

Summary: For the price the hotel was superb and the staff (particularly Nanny) could not have been more helpful. It is very well situated and backs on to a beautiful medieval square surrounded by bars and restaurants.

Summary: Good stay. Only concern was the limited air conditioning and no way to open windows. Wonderful old building within easy walking of shopping and many tourist sites. Parking was good and relatively easy.

Summary: The hotel has so much character and charm, and the location right on the plaza mayor is perfect. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the free parking was close and easy to access. The breakfast was perhaps the best we had in Spain. We loved our stay at Il Virrey and are happy to recommend it to others.
