Summary: Everything was amazing! The room was icy cold. The only thing I would say is that you can’t access your bed from 8:30-6pm. We got an extra normal room so we can Lounge around in. You have a back area with shower and bathroom and two chairs to sit in from 8:30-6 but it was nice to have somewhere you can sleep in in. But overall amazing once in a life time experience

Summary: Arrived a bit late because I drove in from Alta in Norway. And because I went to the Tirpitz museum and spent longer there than I initially thought I would spend there. Room was alright. Really hot, though. Luckily, the front desk gave me a fan, which I then had next to me the entire night. Got a free upgrade, which basically consisted of 2 cans of Loka water, 1 can of Coke and 1 can of Fanta Orange. And a mini bag of Ahlgrens Bilar. Lots of mosquitos in the area, so had to sleep with the windows closed. Bathroom was alright, but space between sink and tap was so small my hands wouldn't fit. Washing my hands was a bit of a pain. The toilet seat was made of wood, but a bit too small. Shower was alright, but the soaps weren't. Also: they were out of shower gel. Breakfast was really early. Which, in turn, allowed me to start my day early and also arrive early at my next location. In all, it was an alright hotel.

Summary: I paid $1,200 for one night’s stay for myself and my daughters. The artistry is amazing. However, the service was terrible. Nobody helps you with your bags. Nobody tells you where your room is. Nobody greets you. We had to drag our luggage all over the place trying to guess where our room was. They cater to the tours. They advertise “check in and out” times, which aren’t correct. You can “check in” but cannot take possession of your room until approximately 6pm. You can “check out” at approximately 11am, but you have to be out of your room at 8am so they can clean for tours. When asking for information, we were pointed to a QR Code and told to watch it. The resort was neat to see, but that is a considerable amount of money for one night to not be treated well. Nothing was complimentary, not even coffee in the morning. I would recommend touring the property, but I would not recommend staying. We looked forward to this stay for over a year and were greatly disappointed due to the lack of service.

Lows - crowded messy lobby, long lines, minimal amenities before or after ice hotel night, very out of date "chalet" room, general uncleanliness.

Summary: Amazing unique experience. Got to see the Auroras from right behind the hotel (without having to sign up for their tour). They provided snowsuits and boots which was so helpful!
