Positive: Small, friendly hotel. Out room was on the small size but perfectly adequate for a one night stay. Dinner was good with plenty of choice and breakfast was great too. Helpful staff.

Negative: We have a sports car which has been lowered, making the parking difficult as the marked parking spaces require you to mount a kerb. We managed to park across the front of the hotel out of the way. Just something to be aware of.

Positive: The staff were efficient and hotel was clean with a comfortable bed

Negative: Easy to find but consider it in the wrong location as shares drive with TIP Hotel alongside. Approach does not give much confidence of a good hotel. When I stayed there was only one other guest having dinner with the menu restricted to 3 items a lot less than the menu. When I asked for the steak was told it was not available meaning I had to have one of the other two which I did not fancy. I had a chicken dish covered in sauce which had been baked hard making it difficult to gain access to the chicken. Meal was poor. Hotel gave the impression it was on its last legs.

Summary: A disappointing stay but which covered the required bases except for the restaurant.

Positive: Friendly helpful staff. Helped us to clean our muddy bikes. Although no official bike store, the staff found a secure place to store them overnight. Great clean comfortable room

Negative: Nothing Not ideal location for cycles near busy roads. Great for motorists
