Positive: Only the location close to the station and close to the tram stops

Negative: The room was almost empty — just a bed with two pillows and a very thin duvet.No minibar, no drinking water, no glasses, no kettle, no coffee or tea machine. Not even a basic setup.No power plugs near the bed. Bathroom had only one all-in-one gel no other bathing amenities at all The hairdryer was extremely weak and basically useless. Early check-in costs extra even if the room is ready. Basel Card is provided, but that’s standard in all Basel hotels. The only positive point: the location. It’s very close to the train station and the tram passes right in front of the hotel. Overall, very poor value for money. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Positive: Freindly greeting from receptionist who was very informative. Great location close to main railway station also trams and buses including number 50 that goes to the airport. Nice half hour walk or so down to old part of town for shops , river, sightseeing and attractions. Spotlessly clean, warm and cosy room with good comfy beds and nice bathroom with shower, toilet and wash handbasin. Great stay.....thank you.

Negative: No tea/coffee making facilities in room but available downstairs at an extra cost.

Summary: Good comfy room idea for city break.

Positive: This hotel is very conveniently located, it was a short walk from the main train station and there is a tram stop in front of the hotel that takes you straight into the main shopping area. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful.
