Positive: You know what you are going to get with an Ibis, reasonable cafe's etc around the neighbourhood. We stayed for one night after flying in late to Barcelona and it's reasonably handy for that if you have a car

Negative: Reception staff were not too welcoming, I don't need a red carpet rolled out but usually Spanish people are more friendly than my experiences of the staff here. The hotel was also going through renovations that we weren't made aware of. The car park was full and we had to park on the street a little ways away (no effort to make sure it was just guests in the hotel car park). Beds were not super comfortable. And honestly it was kinda expensive for what we got. Live and learn and no hate on the place, maybe the staff are just having a hard time.

Positive: From the first moment in entering the hotel, the staff made you feel so welcome and could not do enough to help and make you feel comfortable. The rooms were of a very good size and had everything you require for a few nights stay, the beds were really comfortable & the bathroom facilities were of a very high standard. the breakfast was really good, plenty of choice and really tasty.
