Positive: We had a lovely stay here whilst we were watching our friend compete in Cortina d'Ampezzo, which is really easy to get to via bus. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, and explained about registering our passports when we were confused. At the property there was lots of lovely treats and thoughtful items like little shopping bags to make our stay more enjoyable. There are great cafe's down the road where we had coffees and pasteries, and nice restaurants nearby as well.

Negative: We had a small issue with getting into the property as the keys were tricky but the hosts both came to help us and gave us a good solution.

Summary: Lovely place, perfect for our stay for the Winter Olympics

This historic stone house beautifully combines the traditional architecture of the Cadore region with modern comfort and amenities that today’s travelers expect. The interior, featuring dominant wooden elements, feels authentic yet cozy. The host, Mirko, is exceptionally welcoming and communicative, which significantly enhances the overall experience. The apartment is fully equipped: there is a stove, microwave, electric kettle, capsule coffee machine, refrigerator, television, and stable Wi-Fi connection. The spacious bathroom offers a large walk-in shower and plenty of room. I also appreciated the many practical details that make a stay more comfortable – ample storage space, a very comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches that are often missing elsewhere. The breakfast basket is varied and more than sufficient, including small juices. A lovely bonus is the chilled sparkling wine and chocolate waiting for you upon arrival. Another big advantage is that pets are welcome. The laundry service is very convenient – simply place your clothes in the designated bag and leave it downstairs; within a few hours everything is clean. Parking is available directly in front of the house. The Dolomitibus stop is approximately 500 meters from the property and offers a direct connection to Cortina d’Ampezzo. Restaurants and essential services are within walking distance. Overall, this is a very comfortable and thoughtfully designed accommodation that perfectly combines mountain atmosphere with a high standard of service.
