Positive: Everything was amazing. But the villa 3 was out of this world. Watching the elephants from our pool and watching the gibbons was so much fun

Negative: The accommodation and the safari was enlightening and special in many ways a must do .

Positive: Arriving at sunset to elephants roaming free in their very large enclosure that's as far as the eye can see at sunset bathing and eating is truly breathtaking. Low key high service excellent quality food and drink at reasonable prices Beautiful pool- best spot to see elephants and photos don't do it justice with showers pool towels sun loungers. Truly special to see the elephants enjoying themselves from a close but not intrusive on them distance. They seemed very well cared for .

Negative: The accomodation pictures are true to reality. Somewhat functional. The bed springs are squeaky making for a noisy night as kids toss and turn. There's a few mosquito - more than other jungle locations we visited The tour starts fairly heavy handed video of animal cruelty that's been prevented by the sanctuary and this narrative continues for some time. Both our 9&11 year old were in tears but I'm not sure if the tour guide noticed. I feel the points were well made but the triplicate repetition of some points rather unnecessarily upsetting with tragic graphic details. I would advise a little more caution with young children for the tour guides as the tears returned every time they saw monkeys or elephants in Thailand which was more than once

Positive: The best part of the property is that it's in the rescue center and you can see elephants and gibbons from the restaurant. The pool area is also great.

Negative: It is a bit pricey for the rooms only as you need to add the 1/2 or full day tour price, but it goes to conservation activities, so that's ok

Positive: Love the foundation and its work, the view and the staff! Good food. Super helpful with transportation.

Negative: I wanted to really love the place. But some of the fundamentals wasn’t working: Hot water didn’t work both days, the breakfast buffet without lids against flies, hard beds. Barebones decor. Broken rain shower head. Alone in the building after dark. I had 100s of ants in my room.

Positive: An amazing place that is a foundation for rescued animals.Edwin and his family and all staff and volunteers do a fantastic job caring for all the animals they have rescued in the last 24 years of the opening of the centre.We were very humbled to be part of the celebration of 24 years and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
