Positive: Easy location to restaurants, safe and very close to tourist office where tours leave from. Air conditioned. Friendly and helpful staff. A feel of real Avignon.

Negative: The shower was a bit mouldy.

Positive: Very helpful and friendly. Immediately gave me a phone number in case my flight was delayed and needed late checkin - which I didn’t in the end but was less pressure having number in case. Helped me with my luggage to 2nd floor. Spotlessly clean. Small but functional. Fabulous, cool little courtyard for soft drinks. Great location for exploring Avignon, and minutes fro railway station

Positive: It was late at night when we arrived from america. We were very tired so we were relieved that the hotel was so close to the train station. The hotel is very quaint , and typically european , which we really appreciate. Our room was very small but we were there to see the sights and not spend very much time at the hotel. The breakfast was excellent in the owner , and her daughter were very helpful and friendly.

Summary: Had a great time would highly recommend this hotel.

Positive: The property’s location is excellent and just what one would expect a home in Provence to be. The structure, decor, and furnishings are in keeping with tradition. Though not large, our room was extremely comfortable. Our hostesses, Sandrine and Lea, were most obliging and very pleasant.

Negative: Though not a problem for us, the beautiful spiral staircase would be challenging to someone with mobility issues.

Summary: Le Colbert offers a perfect place from which to explore Avignon and nearby towns.
