Positive: Amazing views and beautiful rustic living. Being woken up by the cows had the kids very excited. Nice and close to explore the Midlands. Highly recommended.

Positive: Ashleigh was an amazing host, and even organised a tour of their dairy for us while we were there. The view of the river from the house was stunning. The pictures of the area definitely do not do this place justice. It is so beautiful! Thankfully there was a fireplace in the living area because it got quite cold in the evenings, and there were heaters in the bedrooms. While the layout of the house is unusual, we got used to it quickly.

Positive: The cottage is large, comfortable and well appointed. The fresh milk in the fridge and the firewood & starters were a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. Coffee and tea were also provided and there was plenty of drinking water and ice in the freezer. The huge kitchen table was fantastic for social meals and conversations. There was plenty of warm blankets and throws available for the cold winter nights.

Negative: A little mouse came calling and left a few droppings in the cottage. But! Given this is a cottage on a farm, it is to be expected ;)

Summary: A wonderful girls' weekend away which will definitely be repeated!

Positive: The pictures really don’t do justice. The place is massive and had everything we required clean lovely towels and enough blankets to keep warm. The place itself was so peaceful and serene, we really enjoyed our time spent there. Ashleigh was amazing aswel.
