Negative: They now charge extra for breakfast, supposedly upgraded but actually the same or a bit worse than the formerly free version. Since a convenient breakfast matters to us, we were very disappointed at the change. Lack of shelf space in the rooms is a minor issue.

Positive: The location was great! It is walking distance from many attractions and restaurants. Overall, I really valued the cleanliness of the room and the updated facilities. Will definitely stay again on my return!

Negative: I did see a small, light red spot on my bedsheet. It would have been good to ensure that all sheets are spotless.

Positive: I like that the staff was kind and put us in a room with a nice view which is what we asked for and also accomodated us in a room with a bathtub which was very nice

Negative: The toilet paper was not a brand new one upon arrival. Phones did not work and I wish there were extra pillows and blankets but the room did not have it.

Summary: Overall it was a very nice hotel, friendly staff.

Positive: The staff was terrific. We came for a procedure at UCSF, the property garage was full but we were directed to a garage on the next block that was 1/3 the price and very convenient. Comfortable room, attentive staff and terrific pub next door. We would love to return for a ball game and some time around the patio fireplace.

Negative: Breakfast was an expensive add-on for the quality.

Positive: Loved the area and everything just the sheets were stained and said we were taken care of for a discounted price plus room upgrade but yet didn’t follow through and had to call to say the price wasn’t changed & had to ask why it wasn’t included like they offered but other then that great area

Positive: The hotel is a perfect walking distance to the Giants and Chase stadium. The area is clean and there are a couple places next to the hotel to grab a bite to eat. Would definitely stay there again.

Negative: Limited and ver expensive hotel parking. Luckily there is a parking structure across the street for a fraction of the price.
