Summary: Hotel was nice in general and we would like to stay there again, as we regularly travel GA to WI. But there were a couple of issues. Upon checking into our room, the tv was on and one bed was unmade, almost like someone was in there AFTER it was cleaned? Creepy! We were too tired to try for a new room so we used a clean set of linens that luckily were in the closet. The other issue was 3 hotel staff smoking a few feet from the back guest entrance right by the hotel gym. Guests have to walk right through the middle of them smoking to get out the door. That was gross and rude. They don’t have to stand right in that entrance. The rest of our stay was good, but those two items made me feel we did not get our money’s worth. I would not book this hotel again unless I got some response/reason on those two issues.

Summary: Hotels.com did not send my information for the reservation. The hotel staff made calls to confirm the reservation which took some time. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

Summary: No one ever at front desk, requested when I booked months earlier connecting rooms/same floor due to elderly parents-not even close- couldn’t check in even an hour early, that was a first at a hotel for me, check in was at 3:00 NO rooms ready..went to an event at Ford Center @ 3 came back about 5:15- rooms finally ready close to 7pm, check in day had terrible front desk people when they would actually be at the desk. This was all housekeepings fault and because they were sold out per the front desk- they are couple blocks from event center, surely this is not their first time..minimum 15 people behind us waiting for rooms, obviously several in front of us. I did not bother to go to their breakfast, my parents did, they said not that great. Breakfast hours 6 to 9, I think 10 would be better and thank goodness there are 1500 characters to be able to give a real review of this hotel The positives, close to The Ford Center and Check out is at 12, other than that I recommend this hotel as a last resort if nothing else is available! I don’t really do reviews because most places I have stayed have been just fine, but the way they handled things was a huge disappointment and maybe my parents will review on the cleanliness of their room!! UGH

Summary: Nothing bad, just pricey for what it was. Guise is that it’s upscale but it’s just pretty average. Downstairs was well maintained and nice, staff was friendly, breakfast bar was very active (very diverse - omelettes, porridge, mounds of bacon, pancakes I think, cereal, full fruits (apple/orange/banana), pastries and juices/coffee). Bathroom was clean, room just seemed kind of dated but clean. I think the couch folded out to a bed (could feel the frame). Surprisingly noisy in the room. I would probably stay at the brand again in general but for the price I would personally go for something else, especially in the area - total stay for one night was around $263 after taxes and fees so a $50 breakfast for one and an in-room couch doesn’t justify the price (otherwise very standard room). If it were in the price point it should be like $150ish I would giving raving reviews. I’ve stayed at five stars that were not much more in price that were in higher marquee areas than what I paid for this room.

Summary: Booked this room to be close to the Ford Center for a concert. Walkable to the venue and casino is also walkable. Stay was very comfortable. Will absolutely book again if ever in Evansville again. Highly recommend. !
