Positive: The room was very comfotable. We enjoyed dinner.

Negative: There was only a trickle of hot water after several minutes in the bathroom. We were only given two medium size towels for a four day visit.

Summary: The Dolphin meets our requirements and we have booked again for Christmas.

Positive: Located in a lovely village setting, a good pub with great drinks and food. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Negative: None of the windows opened and we stayed during a hot spell in July. There was a fan in the room but this just moved the hot air around. No fresh air at all and temp in the room was 25C- 27C so quite stuffy.

Summary: Nice but very hot and no fresh air.

Positive: Location was good, perfect for families. Nice and tidy, comfy beds. Kids loved it. The manager went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Positive: Very comfortable bed. Tea making facility including mini fridge & fresh milk. Croissants provided for breakfast on 1st morning only. We had a lovely meal on the Saturday evening with generous portions for both starters & main course, so generous we had no room for puddings. Excellent value.

Negative: Poor hot water pressure. No staff on premises later in the evening or before 10:00am in the morning.

Positive: The room was lovely, spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. A take away breakfast was provided, which we didn't expect as breakfast wasn't included / available. Staff all friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was excellent

Positive: Liked the pub next door and plenty of space in the apartment. The breakfast basket was a nice touch. Owner let us check in early to make the most of our day and was very friendly. Lovely converted barn with some original beams.

Negative: Shower was not the best- it was wobbly and came apart. The two bedrooms were basically open plan with no privacy inbetween. Not an issue for close family but could be for couples. Apart from that, the stay was lovely.
