Positive: Huize Jon Hostel was really nice, his son was a really nice guide, and all of them were so cool ! I booked trips to bromo and waterfalls there and it was simply amazing, the hostel itself is pretty nice

Positive: Huize Jon Hostel is the place to be in Malang! The location is perfect to reach the main things to see in the city. The building is clean and nice. Good price. The owner is super kind and the staff working there as well, they make sure that you have everything you need and they make you feel like at home. You can also taste different kind of coffee in their café at the entrance, good quality. What to say, it's just a special place ❤️

Positive: the facilities were good and booking a tour through them was great. the owner and his family were really kind and helpful, and the location is excellent.

Negative: I booked a scooter driver for the day through them and on the way back, he stopped us far from the hostel in the pouring rain and made some very uncomfortable sexual comments. I did not feel safe or comfortable, and even less so since he knew where I was sleeping and the rooms have no lock. if you're a solo female traveller please be careful. I don't blame the hostel owners and it's still a decent place.

Positive: My recent stay at Huize Jon was absolutely delightful! The owner, Pak Jon, was incredibly friendly and informative, making me feel right at home. I was pleasantly surprised to be offered free coffee, and let me tell you, it was delicious! The entire staff was also incredibly nice and helpful throughout my stay. Can't wait to visit again!
