The space
Nestled back off the road, surrounded by trees is a sweet ranch style home with a warm and welcoming feel of country life. You'll enjoy nature as deer roam the front of the property and birds whistle in the trees. The screened in porch is perfect for those who want to be outside, but don't like the little pests that come along with it. The walking trails are mowed down so you have a distinct trail to walk in the back of the property as well in the front pasture. Inside you find the home is warm and inviting. Whether you want to sit by the fireplace or at the table, you will be able to visit with those there with you. Both bedrooms downstairs have private bathrooms and access to the outside. The bedrooms upstairs share a large bathroom and have views to the front yard. The kitchen is fully stocked and has salt, pepper, seasoning as well as coffee and creamers. Summary: The pics and description give you an idea as to what you’re getting into, but it gets a lot better in person.If you’ve seen this listing and are on the fence about it, just go. Very quiet, private and has no shortage of things to do both on site and within reasonable driving distance.

Summary: This is our second time staying here. House is extremely clean and roomy. Lots of wildlife. Pool is clean and sparkling. The owners are friendly and just an email away if you need anything. We will be back.

Summary: We rented this property for a three night stay and it was precisely what we needed. With grandparents, parents and children there was good accommodations for all. The host is responsive and went above and beyond to ensure everything was as we needed it during our stay. About a 30 minute drive into Fredericksburg, but a scenic route into town. Will stay here again if the property is available on our next trip.

Summary: Our stay at the Howl Haus Hideaway in Harper was fabulous! it was our annual girls trip and we had a blast! Their home is beautiful inside and out. Decorated perfectly! So comfortable and inviting! The bedrooms were individually decorated and just amazing! The beds were very comfortable as well! The pool was our haven and we spent every day in it and enjoying the view of the deer and bunnies! We walked down the trails after dinner and loved that too. We used the Blackstone grill on steak night and it was nice to have it accessible. Each morning we all sat in the screened in porch and enjoyed our coffee and hot chocolate and listened to the outdoor county sounds we all love so much! Sterling was very informative with the pool and house features and was very responsive when we needed anything! Wonderful host!! We would highly recommend this gorgeous place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway and want to feel like you’re actually on vacation! We hope we are blessed to come back again!! Thank you for making your home feel like home!
