Positive: Very warm and comfortable. Fabulous views. Walking trails straight from the doorstep. High standard of furnishing. Plenty of hot water, and separate bath and shower in the bathroom. Good wi-fi. Felt very welcome. We hope to come back.

Negative: We arrived on a Sunday and need to ask a couple of questions. but the cottages.com office was closed. It appeared the fridge wasn't working, but it was only that the internal light had failed

Positive: Lovely comfortable cottage. Clean, cosy, stylish and well equipped. Lovely views.

Negative: There was a storm which cut off the power, so we had no light or central heating. No fridge, freezer or cooker as all electric. We had to leave a day early as the power company could not tell us when it would be back on. We phoned the help line to say we were leaving early. We haven't heard anything since. I'm not sure if we are due any refund. Disappointed we had to cut our 4 night break short.

Positive: Excellent location for views etc, maybe not if your not good at going up hills.

Negative: Lack of place to dispose of rubbish at end of stay, instructions not clear and ended up driving round with bin bags in car looking for a bin
