Summary: Claudette is a great host, who, if needed, is always on hand and very helpful. She has excellent command of English, having lived in London for some time. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped, with a wonderful panoramic westward view from a huge terrace, which overlooks the hills and valleys all the way to a distant chain of dormant volcanos, which is part of the Massif Central mountain region. The accommodation is located a five minute walk to the nearby village, which has a well stocked village shop, a bar which serves lunch, boulangerie, and ladies hairdresser, all in an attractive village square. We very much enjoyed our three week stay.

Summary: Lovely gite with amazing views. Just as described, very comfortable and Claudette was very helpful and welcoming. Our dog enjoyed the garden and we enjoyed the terrace and the beautiful sunsets.; although the garden is not enclosed, it's a very quiet area and it's huge, plus the terrace can be closed off to keep the dog with you. We enjoyed our stay very much, though it was not long enough! Thanks Claudette for letting us stay at your lovely gite.

Summary: On a crossroads town, on a west-facing slope with a fabulous terrace overlooking the Puys du Dômes, we enjoyed a friendly village with a full service market, boulangerie, and welcoming tabac-restaurant with good food. Short drives to medieval villages, Romanesque churches, chateaux, splendid walks, UNESCO sites, filled our days. Wi-fi and cable television kept us in touch with home, and this sunny apartment with the views over the west welcomed us home for 3 weeks. With all appliances and washing machine, and plenty of hot water, we were always comfortable, and our host was friendly, informative, and available. You can't miss having a great vacation here.

Summary: The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The gite has a terrace with stunning views and there were fabulous sunsets when we were there. Inside it was clean and spacious with everything we could need. The village was within walking distance with a well stocked supermarket, boulangerie and bar. There were lakes nearby for our dog to swim and plenty of pretty villages to visit and great restaurants where we sampled tasty menus.

Summary: Stayed for two weeks with my elderly Mum. It would be hard to imagine a warmer welcome from the owner, who lives next door. The house suited us perfectly as all the accommodation is on one floor (no steps inside) and the bathtub is easy to get into (shower above, no separate shower), and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. (We didn't do any cooking, just simple meals in the evening). The decor is old-fashioned so may not appeal to everyone, but we found it very comfortable and slept very well. In good weather, the huge balcony is a real bonus with fantastic views across to the mountains in the west (and good sunsets). The house is situated in a peaceful location within walking distance of a pretty village with small supermarket, bakery and bar/restaurant, and there is loads to do within a short drive. We would not hesitate to return.
