Summary: We stayed here for one week in September this year. The house is just great - tucked away in a little village (no shops) surrounded by corn fields and orchards but not too far from towns (Verges and Toroella - 5mins), supermarkets and the beautiful Costa Brava beaches like Aiguiblava, Tamariu and Fornells. There is a huge garden with a really clean swimming pool, lots and lots of seats for al fresco days and evenings. The house itself has four well sized bedrooms, three bathrooms and lots of space downstairs. The kitchen is clean and really well equipped. The master bedroom is more like a posh hotel suite - en suite, dressing area, balcony. We just had a perfect time there and our three year old son was so happy he didn't want to leave. The owner was keen to make sure we had all we needed- and the team at Rustic Bisbal (Celia and Roser) were lovely and couldn't have done more for us. All in all, this was one of our best holidays ever. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended. Paddy, Rachel & Finn

Summary: We (two families, 4 adults and 4 kids in total) stayed in the house for almost a week just before Easter. The house is located in the small farming village just few minutes drive from Verges. It's a quiet, peaceful place where you can relax and wake up to birds singing. It's a perfect spot for exploring the area: we've made little trips every day to different beaches (Playa Aiquablava, Playa Sa Riera, L'Escala beach at Cala Montego) as well as to Begur, Figueres and to Girona. All of those places are within 30-60min drive which even with small kids that we had in tow was perfectly fine. And after busy day out we were back to the house where kids could still enjoy a dip in the pool; even though it was just early April, thanks to the solar heating, the water temperature was 21°C. The house itself is spacious, nicely furnished, has big, well equipped kitchen and excellent outdoor dining and lounge space. There is also a BBQ place outside. The internet connection initially allowed only two devices to be used at a time but after our request to the agency we got more passes. The service provided by the agency was great, on our arrival we met Roser at the offices in Rustic Bisbal and she led our way up to the house. The owner of the house, super nice elderly gentleman, lives in the same village and came to welcome us and check if we find everything we need. He came back again at the end of our stay asking if everything was fine and wishing us safe trip home. Overall: very nice, personal touch. We enjoyed our stay in the house enormously and we wish to go back there one day! Highly recommended!
