Summary: We spent a lovely three days in Ouassen, enjoying the quiet and the ocean view. Rachid was waiting with the key when we arrived and we were even able to check in early. The only problem we had was the lack of cell phone service, so we weren't sure exactly where to go and messages were not getting through to Rachid. (note: the place is right down the hill behind the cafe given as a landmark) We gave only 3 stars for cleanliness because we found that leaving the windows open to enjoy the ocean breeze resulted in dust and sand over everything... Even with the windows closed one day, the dirt still sifted in and made little piles on the floor. Also, kitchen appliances were not clean. We still enjoyed our stay, but if you require a spotless home, then this is not the place. It is not noted on the amenities, but the home is well stocked with sheets, blankets, and towels. Sandra was so helpful, quick to answer emails, and flexible with date changes, as we had trouble with permission to travel in Morocco because of covid restrictions. Overall a good experience and a wonderful break from Casablanca!
