Summary: This is a great little pet friendly house to stay in with easy access to local beaches and the lovely little town of Sintra. We stayed here while looking for long term accommodations for our Portugal adventure. It was perfect for us. Catrina, the host, is very friendly and helpful.

Summary: We spent a month in this home and enjoyed it. The host was easy to communicate with and flexible. It is a short walk to the beach and at the end of a quiet street. Had everything we needed for the month's stay. We were there in the summer and there were alot of flies, but was manageable.

Summary: We stayed at this property one month in October. The house was perfect for our needs. The beds are comfortable and the internet works very well. It is a lovely little casita more suitable for summer months, however even during the storm that passed we were able to put on the fireplace and it was so lovely and cozy. You can walk to the beach and to the little village where there is a restaurant with delicious food, a small market, coffee, fresh bread and a pharmacy. We enjoyed our stay very much. Catarina and her dad are so lovely and attentive. The only small warning is that the parking is tight if you have an SUV, but after a couple of days I was a pro at it and it worked out fine.

Summary: Very friendly people - Catarina“s parents welcomed us - and we enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and we were very happy about using the bikes. Local places - bakery and fruits/vegetables - were close by (7 min by bike). The beach was very comfortable to reach either by walking or riding by bike. Great beaches and nature - swimming quite dangerous and partly restricted due to the huge waves. Santa Cruz is near by as well and offers all you need - restaurants, ice cream, shopping ....however we liked to be 3 km away from any crowds and tourists. Only negative aspect is the road which is right next to the house, so you cannot leave the windows open during the night because of the traffic, however closing the windows helped avoiding the noise quite efficiently. Thanks to Catarina and Family - we can recommend to stay there.

Summary: The owner of the house is very polite and helpfull. She picked us up in Torres Vedras and brought us to the house. The house is in a rural area and due to the fact that it is off season now, we loved our stay. The Atlantic wich is by walking distance is very impressive and the ecological area near the house is amazing. Dunes, all sort of beautiful plants and cliffs are breathtaking. Go for a walk and you will find out! Thanks Catarina, that we could stay at your place!
