Positive: The hospitality of the host was tremendous. He arranged a pick-up for our group (familiy of 5) at 2.30 a.m. at the airport and he even offered us a meal. The next morning he made us a great breakfast and additionally he again arranged a taxi. All of this free of charge. The rooms are very spacious. The house itself is set in a nice and quiet rural area. We also liked the big garden in which the breakfast was served. All peacful with a couple of dogs, chicken and a huge rabbit.
Negative: I was a bit surprised to find an accomodation like this on booking.com. Staying here feels more like visiting an uncle you don't really know and who lives in a distant country. You literally share the house with the host. Several rooms where shown after arrival, some of which can be closed, others can't. The floor, the kitchen and the bathroom are all shared and weren't particularly clean to say the least. Some of the beds are good, some are just too old to sleep in. It seems that reconstruction works are going on in the house, but it appeared that these were already ongoing for some time.
