Summary: We booked this house because we were in town for our son's wedding and needed access to a full kitchen. We were very happy with our choice! The house is easy to get to, located near a lot of stores/restaurants as well as downtown Lake City, and we could tell it was very clean when we first arrived. It is obviously an older building, but the owners have done a lot of work to make it more updated. The living room featured a large sectional, several chairs, a side table, and a large tv. We had access to many different streaming services. The kitchen and dining area met our needs well and offered space to store the many things we had to get ready for the rehearsal dinner. We were also pleased that even though Florida was experiencing a cold snap, the owners had provided space heaters in every room to keep the house toasty and warm (although being from Virginia, we actually had to use the air conditioners a few times although it would have felt cold to native Floridians). The price was very reasonable, and checkout was incredibly smooth. We would definitely recommend this location and consider booking it again if we needed to stay in the area.

Summary: Although the place has been painted and got new linoleum floors, it is not updated. Floors are uneven with sudden dips and humps. It has multiple soft spots. I felt like I was going to fall just walking across the floor. Window air conditioners throughout. In one of the bedrooms, the air conditioner is behind the head board. As a result, it couldn’t cool the room. You can tail where they have tried to cover problems with paint, particularly in the bathroom. The area did not seem safe. It was so bad, we left a day early.
