Positive: Convenience and excellent communication with the owner. Very speedy replies. Great communication.

Negative: Shower didn’t work properly. House just felt all little unloved. House is on the market for sale and feels like it’s just being Airbnb until it sells. Garden couldn’t be used so don’t visit with young children.

Positive: The house is absolutely beautiful and you can tell the owners have put a lot into it. I have stayed in hotels that do not look as comfortable and accomodating as this property. They supplied utilities for cooking, washing up even spare sheets for the sofa bed which we didn't use but was a nice touch. If the pool & hot tub where usable I would have been happy to pay more for my stay.

Negative: Small things like bathroom sinks had dirt around them. There was marks in the toilet from where it had not been cleaned properly. We couldn't get the tvs in the bedrooms to work either.

Positive: Myself and my children had a wonderful 2 night stay while we were visiting family. Access to the property was easy - instructions were given before check in. The living room was gorgeous, sofas comfortable and a lovely big dining table. The kitchen had everything we needed. Upstairs was even better, the bedrooms were lovely and big with comfy beds and plenty of storage. Very suitable for a family. Bathroom had a shower and there was a separate toilet. We were really happy with the home and will definitely stay again.

Negative: I had trouble using the smart tv features on the tv downstairs (probably me being daft) Other than that, we loved it.

Positive: The instructions about the key location were clear. However, upon our arrival, a bin blocked the entrance to the driveway, making it quite challenging to maneuver in. Once we got inside the property, we noticed it was very cold, with the heating set at just 16.5 degrees. It took over an hour to warm up, and since we arrived after 10 PM, it was difficult to get the kids settled in bed. It's unfortunate that the host didn't consider our late arrival with children. The shower was extremely dirty, with residue and grime present, and the shelves were cluttered with empty or half-empty bottles of shower gels and shampoos. The bathroom sink was also unclean, containing black hair (considering we are three blondes!). The plates were dirty, and one of the bedroom's power sockets had a wire protruding from it. Additionally, the door frames were rotten and damaged, and the high steps lacked carpeting, which posed a risk of slipping, even for adults. The interior of the toilet door was shockingly dirty, with black residue suggesting it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. A watering can was left in the toilet sink, and I was unsure of its purpose. The toilet paper roll had very little paper left, and a half-used roll was left beside it. The toilet paper holder was another issue; it twisted around the mount every time you pulled the paper, and if you weren't quick enough, the roll would slide off and fall to the floor! Overall, for the price we paid, it was a disappointing stay, and I wouldn't consider using the shower in such a condition.
