Positive: We booked last-minute and were warmly welcomed by John just hours later. The house is peacefully set in nature with its own private lake – absolutely idyllic! Our room was full of charm, beautifully decorated with thoughtful details, fresh flowers, and fine English tea. The garden offers cozy seating, a romantic glasshouse, a fire pit, and a BBQ area – perfect to relax. John even lent us his canoe, life jackets, and a picnic blanket – we spent an unforgettable day on a small island just five minutes away! We stayed two nights and felt completely at home. Everything was wonderful and John is a truly exceptional host. We’ll definitely be back!

Positive: The hospitality of the owner is very special. It starts with an short walk in the garden and then a small tour inside. You can have breakfast with fresh eggs, fruit etc. in the garden house. Very special.

Positive: We loved absolutely everything about this property. The host was welcoming and provided everything we needed. The house is a little gem decorated with the most amazing pieces. The garden is out of a dream and available to use during your stay. To be honest, I didn't want to leave at the end of our stay! Totally worth it and the price is extremely reasonable.

Negative: The breakfast is very basic. I think the description of the flat should clarify that this is actually a b&b with the whole top floor of the house rented out but without kitchen.
