Positive: This hotel is right in the center of the town and convenient to shops and restaurants. We love the option of the holiday apartment across the street from the main hotel building. It is quiet, roomy, and tidy. We also liked the friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning, and we enjoyed a delicious dinner there as well. The hotel is lovely and offers free parking right next to it.

Negative: We thought we were getting the same holiday apartment we had stayed in before because the pictures in the reservation confirmation were showing that same room. Therefore, I didn’t send any communications to the hotel about specific requests. When we arrived, we were taken to a different apartment that did not have a bathtub. We prefer a bathroom with both shower and tub like our previous room, but the other holiday apartments with bathtubs were all booked when we arrived.

Summary: We enjoyed this beautiful hotel and the delicious meals we had there.

Positive: Staff are helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and clean with a good view. Secure parking. Breakfast was exceptional. The swimming pool is excellent, as is the garden.

Negative: The evening menu was the same as previous years. It could do with change. Lighter meals would be good. Just a suggestion. A fan in the room or air con would be good.
