Summary: Hotel is a bit old, but it's been well managed. It is only 2~3 minute away from Haeri Culture Town, and got great rivie & mountain view from the balcony.

Summary: First of all, the people we encountered were friendly. Even my Korean wife, who prefers to avoid speaking to hotel managers because they are often rude to women, had a pleasant experience. The hotel is beautifully decorated, but aging. Nothing too bad, but it just seemed that while there was a clear style that was impressive, if you looked long enough, you could see that the maintenance was neglected. There were two negatives. First, the in-room jacuzzi tub was broken. Only a couple of jets worked. I booked this hotel specifically because of the jacuzzi tub and wanting to get a little therapy while recovering from an injury. Couldn't happen how I hoped. The second has to do with the maintenance. It rained heavily all day and night and, apparently, the veranda drain was clogged because we woke up in the morning to a flooded room. Our backpacks with our clean clothes had been left on the floor so they were wet. The original solution from the staff was for us to take all of our things to the top floor restaurant, but eventually agreed to open another room for us across the hall for us and have the cleaning staff wash and dry our wet clothing. BONUS: The jacuzzi worked in the new room! With all of this we were barely able to get our clothing back and out of the hotel by checkout time. It would have been nice of them to offer more time or something for the inconvenience, but having stayed in several hotels in Korea, we were just happy they didn't blame us for the rain.
