Summary: The hotel was pretty with a nice bar. The bar appetizers were not good, we tried mushroom fries which were heavily battered and too peppery. The drinks were great but I’d skip the food. The room was lovely, comfy bed, great bathroom but had a tub/shower. Free breakfast was basic. The staff were all great. Parking was easy.

Summary: i just cannot say enough good things about Hotel Winneshiek. Clean rooms with good layout and sf, helpful friendly staff and a nice bar area. to top it off they have a free breakfast, its not a full buffet but the fact that it is free and offered is a nice touch

Summary: Our room and bed were very comfortable. Rose and our other housekeeping lady (sorry that I didn't get her name )were very attentive. It's a lovely place and so nice to be in the center of the pretty downtown. We hope to make an autumn trip.

Summary: This is a beautiful hotel. We loved the character and charm of yesteryear. Walking around the building just to take it all in was amazing. The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We are definitely going back!
