Positive: Family run hotel , pleasant staff, lovely owners , Giorgio made our stay! When we were leaving , I felt like we were leaving own family - farewells were in a proper Sicilian style.

Negative: Parking was a bit tight but getting to know the area , this was really good as many properties there don’t have parking .

Summary: Amazing hotel , amazing staff , perfect for what we needed

Positive: We loved the old Sicilian style furnishings of the hotel and rooms. The pool is super! We appreciated being slightly out of Taormina, away from the touristy area and busy roads. Either caught a taxi to Porto Cattania or a bus from the railway station, which is a 7-10 minute walk down the road. Some days we walked back taking a track off Via Roma (not for the faint hearted as it’s like a ‘goat track!’).

Positive: Located just below Taormina and that’s the best thing about it - the nearby village is small, but you can find great restaurants and cafes there without any tourists. You can walk there (and to the seashore) by foot. The rooms were nice and clean, and the entire atmosphere of the villa was remarkable.

Negative: It’s a bit expensive for what you get in the end. If you get a room on the road side (going up to Taormina) it can get busy and noisy sometimes.
