Positive: We stayed on a Friday evening when supper was an option. Don’t bother booking anywhere else for a meal, the food was fantastic & delightful hosts & staff. We stayed in room 2 with a forest view, as we thought that would be quieter than the roadside. However the road was very quiet with little traffic, so it wouldn’t have been a problem. I am slightly concerned that my husband’s horrific snoring kept our neighbours awake during the night as the walls were quite thin. I resorted to my noise cancelling headphones. The beach is a short walk, minutes, away & there were people swimming in late August. The bus stop to Helsingor is right outside & the train is a 20 minute walk away. We highly recommend as a quiet and unassuming, but delightful place to stay.

Negative: Pillows & mattress very soft.

Summary: Fabulous place that totally undersells itself. What a gem to find.

Positive: We felt very comfortable. It is an interesting building with history. It was still too cold for a swim in the nearby beach before breakfast. The breakfast was wonderful.
