Summary: One of the best locations on the island for first time visitors. You get off the ferry and in a three minute walk you are at the hotel. The hotel is italian-style with the owner checking you in and someone else at the front desk helping out too. The owner takes pride in his hotel you can tell so make sure to not complain or give him any problems and then he is friendly. The breakfast buffet has fresh fruit (watermelon when we stayed), pastries, toast, and juice and coffee machines to pick your own drinks. The location was quiet since it’s not on the Main Street, but close enough to the main area where you can walk. There is free parking behind (up the sidewalk) the hotel if you rent a moped (40/day) or a car (60-70/day). The hotel has an uppper roof Terrance great for photos of the island 360 and a Terrence in the second floor and the bottom floor has a court yard with trees and feels like you are walking in a forest. The breakfast room is large the waitors cleaning the tables dress up to clean your dishes like people working at a fancy restaurant with black pants and white dress shirts. Nice touch . We did not try the massages there but there were options to book them. The beds were italian-style as expected in a less expensive hotel in Italy ( they could use a memory foam topper if you are use to American beds); they were hard mattresses but as expected there. The quadruple rooms are small (two single beds and one queen) but have nice balconies and a mini fridge. Recommend

Summary: We enjoyed staying in this family owned and very unique hotel. We especially liked the lovely lounge, rooftop areas and shady dining area. Breakfast is generous and delicious. The location just off the main pedestrian dining / shopping streets and very close to the harbour is excellent.

Summary: Great location in center of Lipari within a few minutes of walking from everything....port, restaurants and shops. Great price. Staff very nice. Good breakfast and atmosphere. Will definitely reccommend to family and friends.

Summary: This is a very nice hotel, it is just unfortunate that some rooms, including the one we used, are right next to a very busy road. It was a huge surprise that this was the noisiest place we stayed in an 18 day tour of Italy; one might have expected Napoli or Palermo to be noisy (they weren't), but an Aeolian island .....! Otherwise, everything was very good - helpful staff, very good breakfast, very pleasant atmosphere.

Summary: Although the room was a bit on the small side, this hotel was our favorite out of the 7 hotels we stayed at in Sicily. The ambiance is wonderful. Location is perfect, near the ferry but also close to shopping. Breakfast is traditional. Common areas are large and comfortable. You cannot find a better hotel for this price.

Summary: I've stayed at this hotel in June for about 8 days. It was very quiet so I had a very good sleep there. Breakfast is great, buffet style, it included capers on a day-to-day basis, among other things. The common area including the breakfast area was very cozy and comfortable. This was needed even more since wi-fi did not work in the room itself. The hotel is very very close to the main street in Lipari, and also very close to the port - useful to take a boat to other islands such as Vulcano and Stromboli - and also in the same area there is a bus stop for the trips to various interesting places on the island. Decor is beautiful, vintage theme, very nice. The hotel is not too big, it only has rooms on 2 floors. It was very quiet and restful. As soon as on the main street, there is a supermarket across the street, which was very convenient for buying water and food. Other vendors were also on that main street. Major sights such as Museo Archeologico and Duomo are within walking distance (10 minutes walk, given the stairs).
