Summary: Mostly wonderful experience in a beautiful hotel with amazing views. There were a couple dead flies on the floor in our room which was the only disappointing thing. The other thing that was extremely disappointing was our dinner reservations seating (which we made a month in advance). We had a 7pm reservation right when they opened. They have PLENTY of seating with views of Lake Geneva which we wanted for our final night of our anniversary trip. We got there, and were placed in the interior against a wall so I couldn't even see the view at all. My husband could partially see it. I didn't ask to be moved because I'm not typically that type of person, but I was sorely disappinted and confused as to why they did that with as many open tables with a view they had, and when I had booked a month in advance. Nevertheless, we had an enjoyable stay despite our last dinner ambience being ruined. Our server was fantastic.

Summary: Wow! What an oasis from the business of life! Room was wonderful and spacious; beds were great. View from balcony and all eating areas is incredible. Staff was very responsive and helpful with one exception - wanted to make a shorter night by getting some bar food (as advertised) around 6 pm, but only alternative given was the formal dining at 7 pm. Love accessibility to funicular and train network. Grounds meticulously cared for.

Summary: Me and my fiancé had an amazing stay. Everything was amazingly taken care off. The hotel is so romantic and Yasmin helped us out so well from beginning to end. We will definitely come back!

Summary: I absolutely loved the view from the double doors in my room and its balcony, the comfortable bed, the silence between my room and others (I was only on floor 3 but it was very quiet), the grandeur of the hotel although it is almost like a slight pastiche of itself as some of it is a tiny bit jaded/faded. The carpet in my room and garishly tiled but classically designed bathroom are both approximately 40+ years old but I found really comforting as it reminded me of staying at my grandparents! I had dinner and it was absolutely impeccable Service and food and would highly recommend. The reception desk were very efficient and helpful. I loved staying here and would love to come back. Highly recommend.

It is a classic 5 star service combined with the warm hospitality of the owner family. This mix and the beautiful setting is getting rare in the world of hospitality.
