Positive: The place was built earlier in a grand style, but it is kept clean. It is secluded near a lake which of this time was nice and quiet. The pool and facilities are great. But you need to check out the lake and the back of the property where there is a small ZOO and alar of at the perks for children and adults. Add nice breakfasts and very good dinners at the hotel restaurant. And cocktails ...

Negative: Actually I did like this too: the place obviously requires too much maintenance. And so it needs more visitors. But being somewhat run down around the lake makes it even more attractive to me.

Positive: Lovely setting and the pool is amazing, the rooms are basic but clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly too. This is why it still gets a 7 overall, it isn't a bad place to stay.

Negative: Almost all facilities were closed during our stay, no bowling, no spa, no bar or restaurant, no boating/watersports, this was not mentioned when we booked and we were not told this when we checked in. This hotel has a lot of potential and we still had a pleasant stay, but the spa and bowling alley were the main reasons we booked it, to find they were closed was incredibly disappointing. The hotel has no website and it was difficult to find any additional information other than what was provided by booking.com. The fact that things were closed just needed to be properly communicated.

Summary: Nice place but bowling and spa were closed 😕

Positive: Very good location, large variety of indoor activities. Very nice swimming and spa facilities.

Negative: A bit worn out interiors and lake facilities. A bit pricy restaurant and extra activities.
