Summary: This booking was actually one of those 'happy little accidents' like you find in a Bob Ross painting. We made a mistake in 2 connecting hotels, and had to find another hotel in between. We chose for Hotel Vatluna, and boy was that a perfect choice! We actually felt privaliged staying here, especcialy when we had diner at the restaurant. If you are ever looking for a nice hotel between Rome and Florence, treat yourself to this one!

Summary: Remote but special with a great view to the sea. Room was small but comfortable in a very small quiet village. There wasn't always someone at reception to help or answer questions.

Summary: A great hotel in a small hilltop village. Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. La Suite is a massive room but no balcony. We saw beautiful sunset from our window though. The village is pretty sleepy and the hotel was quiet when we stayed at beginning of September. Great views from the pool and terrace restaurant. Overall thought hotel was fabulous and well worth the windy drive up the hill. Breakfast was good too.

Summary: Stayed in the suite for a night while driving around Tuscany! The room was huge, the pool great, the food at the restaurant was delicious & breakfast plentiful! I recommend staying here! It's amazing for the price!!

Summary: This hotel is about 20km from the coast perched high on a hillside. Our room was in the 1st floor with a small outside balcony and the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside and to the coast. The room was a reasonable size although the bathroom and particularly the shower was small. It was a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and we also ate dinner here as it is a very small village and there is not much around. The food was simple and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a pool onsite and a nice area to sit outside. This was an incredibly peaceful and relaxing stay.

Summary: Fantastic hotel in the small Tuscan village of Vetulonia. The food was great and very reasonably priced, and the staff were all helpful and friendly - especially the Swedish lady who welcomed and showed us around.
