Summary: Away from the centre of the village, surrounded by mountains, we had a lovely view from our balcony of a field with donkeys grazing and a small chapel at the far end of the valley. It is quite a hike from the hotel to the lake. If you’re a hiker, then this is the place for you. The dinner was expensive and mediocre. I do not recommend the half-board plan. Breakfast was okay, very limited choices. They benefit from the high tourist numbers obviously reflected in the limited value for money equation.

Summary: This had everything we wanted. Perfect hotel rooms, great food, nice pool, spa, and massage. And oh so close to the lake. I would stay here again!!!!

Summary: This hotel is the best hidden gem in the Dolomites. From the pool, staff, and room, everything is perfect. And the food! Best food I have ever had. Will definitely be back to stay at this hotel next time we are in the Dolomites!

Summary: We had a very good one night stay at Hotel Trenker. Upon arrival, we were luckily upgraded to a suite, and wow - what a room! The dinner was a pleasant surprise, it was delicious. Check in and out was easy as was parking and the proximity to Lago di Braies was wonderful.

Summary: Amazing place to relax and recharge! Only a five minute drive to lago di braies and close to many restaurants. They also serve dinner nightly, but we ventured out as our stay was only one night. The pool and sauna facilities are included and offer beautiful mountain views. Blackout curtains allowed us to sleep in mid-summer. Very peaceful stay!

Summary: Perfect hotel location for exploring the Lago di Braies area. We could hike directly from the hotel to the lake (no need to mess with car / parking at the lake). The hotel staff was great. We enjoyed the pool and spa areas. The food was wonderful, especially the great dinners.
