Positive: Gorgeous gardens, pool, and beautiful views made it easy not to go too far. Excellent staff who were very responsive to help with private boats, shuttles, and other support were greatly appreciated. Everything was scrupulously clean.

Negative: Not very convenient for going to other towns. We underestimated the time it takes to go to Panajachel and then to other towns from there. The beds felt like they’ve seen better days.

Summary: Lovely retreat and worth coming back to.
