Summary: THE shower was not good no presure and variable hot and cold also fitted in a bathtub very dangeres also no plugs next to the bed no refund for having to leave a day early and particulary bad having to pay for parking just having spend 1100 euros for acomodation.

Summary: Nice hotel, perfectly located castle and downtown Zeist. Spacious and clean room, and friendly staff. The online-focused service takes a bit getting used to, but that may be the pre-millenial experience speaking. Once adjusted, easy to work with. Would recommend and return to.

Summary: This hotel has its location for it, the area is beautiful and convenient to get to. The hotel itself, for all its speak of grandeur, is quite average sadly. The general areas as well as the rooms are not very clean, it’s all a bit dated, but those are all things I’m willing to overlook for the location. What I however don’t appreciate is the constant nickel and diming of the customer. There’s no fridge in the room, there’s a spot for it but it’s been taken out. You can rent one for 10€ a night….at reception. That’s not useful at all. Want to order room service? That’s a 12€ delivery cost. Also the staff has a lot of attitude, and wants be to use their iPad to check in. All of it on its own isn’t a big deal, but I’d expect this at a low budget hotel near the highway for 30€ a night. This hotel is much much more than that, I except service to live up to that price.
