Negative: The side room had not been hoovered and was full of dog hairs, which would be less of a problem if you’d bring your own dog of course.

Negative: Could be modernized, old carpets, lots of mosquito around, no air co so had to open windows

Summary: We didn’t have a choice of other hotels in the area but prefer fresher accommodations in future

Positive: Good location, safe storage for bikes and excellent breakfast. The hotel rooms are “ old fashioned” but are comfortable clean and have a large bathroom with great shower. Staff helpful and great atmosphere.

Positive: Historic hotel at the center of the WWII Market Garden battle area. The US 82nd Airborne experienced viscous house-to-house fighting in and around this hotel and immediate vicinity to re-gain control of this strategically situated little village on the Dutch-German border. 100+ year old property still has lots of charm.
