Summary: Perfect mid trip overnight stop driving from Florence to Naples. Self serve laundromat only 1 km away - clean clothes for the rest of our crazy road trip! Arrived late after desk closed, but clear instructions were left at the friendly tavern / coffee shop right next door (I think a business partner maybe?). Limited parking but we felt safe.

Summary: I'm to be honest very satisfied about this hotel! The staff is very nice, drinks & food are also nice! The hotel was actually in the middle of nowhere, at first it was so stressful but after awhile I got used to it. I would not visit again though, because I wanted to be closer to the center of Rome! If you're by car this hotel is nice to go to!

Summary: I had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a little far from Rome center, but there's a bus you can take right from the hotel parking lot that takes you to Tiburtina metro. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Star.

Summary: We stayed in the third floor suite which was perfect for our family of 5. We didn't require the kitchen appliances but they would be nice to have in other circumstances. Staff were very courteous. Parking secure. Up the street seemed a little rough and tumble but nice enough. Wi-Fi only in the lobby. Attached restaurant had a nice outdoor seating area. The invites breakfast was healthy and had a seating area that was surprisingly elegant.

Summary: Hotel Star is on the outskirts of Monterotondo, on a busy main road, Via Salaria, with a direct bus 30 mins into Rome Tiburtina station, which is a transport hub with bus, metro and train links to central Rome and other areas. Staff spoke English and were helpful and informative. There is a reasonably priced restaurant in the hotel with good food and service, and a bar and cafe adjacent. Breakfast was included and was an excellent continental buffet. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were visiting relatives further along Via Salaria and the only drawback was that there is no pavement between the hotel and the outskirts of town, which meant a 100 m or so walk along the edge of a very busy road. Needs a torch at night if walking!
