Summary: Good value hotel. Great location. Bicky was a big help with arranging anything we required. Only complaint: when we returned from a tour we were moved to a nearby sister hotel (Hotel Elegant) without consulting us. The Elegant is much lower quality, very loud and without a view.

Summary: Hotel Splendid View is in a quieter area than the center of Lakeside about 1 km away. The views of the Annapurna Himal are great. Overall this is a well run hotel with a sundeck that is warm in the afternoon. The Buffet Breakfast is a little bland but good enough to start the day.
