Summary: Lovely historic riverside property

Summary: The hotel was really nice, but the bed was not comfortable.
David Aug 9, 2026 07:25:47 PM
Summary: The hotel is in two separate buildings located across the street from each other. The building we were in had access only up a steep flight of steps from the street, which was not great for my wife who is partially disabled. Check-in was efficient but not very welcoming, the receptionist seemed quite indifferent. The room was comfortable and characterful, and breakfast was excellent. The location is very good for walking around the historical part of town. The train station is about 10-15 minutes' walk away.

Summary: Really nice and friendly service, premium location with car park nearby. Food at dinner was great and the breakfast was everything we hoped for. Special thanks for the lady making the omelettes

Summary: The historic building and our room were lovely. However it needs to be mentioned that that building has low ceilings and no air conditioning. I was disappointed that the reception staff did not let me know that as I had booked an air conditioned room. The weather was hot and although they provided a standard fan it was only adequate. Having said that the Polish breakfasts were excellent (so much food and cooked to order). And the location is perfect to explore the old city and the riverfront. My husband used the sauna and found it excellent.
