Positive: Location could not be better, at the center of the town and a short walk away from the Cathedral, with a number of restaurants nearby. Also although they don't have a garage you could park the car at the door for free on Sundays (and that was when we lodged there) but on weekdays you have to pay a small fee (60 cents) per hour with a maximum stay of three hours and then it is again free over lunch. Our room had a bathtub, albeit a small one. I like to take a bath and so this is definitely a plus with me. Also old me liked to see that the door to the room had a physical key. Breakfast OK but not at 4-star level as we often find in some 3-star hotels. All personnel very kind and agreeable.

Negative: Hotel is somewhat like one of those Austrian (or German, or Norwegian...) family hotels with a friendly reception until 9 p.m. and afterwards you must enter with a key which you have to carry with you. Maybe they have a 24-hour reception on high season, but not now. The room must have been originally large but when they parted it to make a bathroom, it ended up as a small room (and a very small bathroom as well). They gave us a nice room with three windows to two sides of the building, however that exposure meant it was rather cold. The central heating was seemingly turned off (they had very few rooms occupied at this season) and we had to rely on a movable room heater which we were not supposed to set at top temperature, and that made me lower their rating by one point. Fortunately the bed had lots of insulation and was comfortable. No room safe/ locker but the hotel and the place are one of the sort where burglary is surely unknown.
