Summary: Room was very clean and suitable for our stay. Important to note that the room is extremely small, hardly bigger than the bed. There is literally no way to have a full sized suitcase in the room. Thankfully we had very small bags. Yes, toilet is directly behind the left headboard. Kind of weird when you think about it. No door and extremely cramped. Probs not a place for a date kind of stay. LOL. Shower is actually very nice and behind the right headboard with a small sink. There is also a fan that came in handy to circulate the air. The bed itself was quite comfortable and gave a great night’s sleep. Also keep in mind that the stairs are narrow and steep. Another reason for small bags. We were on the 4th floor! All that said, the location was absolutely perfect and worked out well for where we wanted to go. I do recommend this hotel but just wanted to make sure you knew of potential pitfalls.

Summary: Le Marais is a such a fun. The room was spacious, clean with a small courtyard. The bed and pillows were not comfortable to me but might be perfectly fine for others. Hotel is well located with cafes, restaurants, boutiques, etc, close by. I would go back.
