Positive: Very comfortable rooms, very clean, good price for the quality you get. Nice staff and very communicative and helpful manager.

Negative: In Nepal there’s always some problems that recur again and again and I experienced similar here. I’ll leave it at that. Location is a bit outside the tourist areas and it takes a short walk to engage with the Boudha atmosphere.

Summary: Great value, very comfortable, modern facilities, friendly staff and helpful management.

Positive: Overall, the experience was outstanding. The professionalism of the staff, the quality of the food, and the standard of hospitality were all impressive. The atmosphere was well-curated, creating a calm and peaceful setting.

Negative: Although the roads are currently under construction, it did not significantly affect the overall experience.

Positive: There was nothing that we disliked about this hotel. We stayed for 2 weeks. What we loved was: Restaurant food choice and quality. A breakfast choice of American, Indian or items off of the menu with tea or coffee. The restaurant is on the 6th floor with nearly 360 degrees of amazing views of the city and airport. Friendly and courteous staff without exception. Helpful and available for any queries we had. I understand some hotels have very pushy staff trying to force you into their trips but we were never sold to - not even once. Clean, spacious well equipped rooms - we stayed in 101 facing the front and still slept very well. The area felt safe with plenty of local shops and supermarkets. We used to walk regularly to the Buddha Stupa which took about 20 mins. To get to other tourist places was a taxi ride but taxis are cheap and plentiful and fares agreed before getting in! If returning to Kathmandu we will 100% rebook at Sherpani. Thank you to all the staff!

Negative: A short section of the road in front of the holtel needs some maintance. The city should do something about it.

Positive: The hotel staff were exceptionally kind—more like family than just employees. They took care of every concern with genuine care and even provided excellent courtesy transportation. The dining area is beautifully located, offering a stunning view of the entire city. Overall, staying at this hotel truly felt like being at home.

Negative: While it may have been a matter of timing and the season, there was significant road construction during my stay, which made transportation a bit challenging. That’s the only reason I’m giving a 9 out of 10. However, once the construction is complete, this will definitely be my go-to place every time I visit Nepal. The location is truly ideal—close to nature, peaceful, and free from noise and pollution.
