Summary: This is just an amazing hotel in the perfect location--right at the entrance to the old city and directly adjacent to the train station. Our room was clean and well appointed, and I can't say enough about the staff, especially the desk clerk who helped us figure out the Aare swimming logistics, She even provided us with a hotel branded dry bag for floating down the river. My only comment is that the AC was not that strong, but the staff did provide us with a supplemental AC unit which cooled the room down considerably. HIGHLY recommend !

Summary: The hotel rooms were great and luxuries. The staff was very helpful and did everything to ensure that we had a great stay. The only issue was the AC, it did not blow any cold air and the thermostat in the room did not want to go below 20 degrees. Switzerland was having a heat wave so it would have been nice to cool off in the room.
Douglas Jun 28, 2026 07:30:51 PM
Summary: Air conditioning was terrible, shower area smells of sewage. Was assured by supervisor a portable air conditioner would be sent to our room but it never arrived. The service on the 6th floor bar was terrible and slow. The bathroom single sink has VERY little counter space and made it difficult to get ready in the morning. Jack’s Steakhouse was about empty at 7:00 pm and the prices were very high.
Mina Jun 19, 2026 02:24:53 PM
Summary: Excellent, warm, helpful and pleasant staff. Excellent location close to train station and old town. Their manager, Jacqueline, was very helpful, making sure that we had a pleasant stay
Suleidys Jun 19, 2026 02:52:47 AM
Summary: Excellent and luxury hotel located in the center of the city. Staff very educated and helpful
