Summary: Hotel Schere is the best place to stay in Northeim. Unless you are willing to travel to Gottingen, this is the best option. Rooms are generally comfy and for European standards larger. Showers can be a bit tight but htats to be expected.

Summary: Schere is a very old brand, good quality adequate BFand good cooking in the restaurant. We had a room with balkony overlooking red roof tops, we were smack in the middle of the city in the pedestrian precinct. To be recommended.

Summary: Very nice hotel in the Center of town , friendly staff and a good restaurant for breakfast and evening meal - local parking is free outside of working hours (9-5) . Clean and comfortable, downside was limited English channels on the TV but that was a small thing

Summary: nice and pleasant stay only down fall there was no kitchen facilities due to ongoing building work, We feel We should have been pre warned of this or a gesture of goodwill from the hotel could have been made!.
