Positive: The room was great, very comfortable and roomy. Check-in was smooth. The Staff were exceptional in their courtesy and willingness to help. They need a separate Google review for their restaurant as it is connected to the hotel. The food was also exceptional; the chef and staff take pride in their craftsmanship. Portions were super. We sampled their drinks; I don't remember what they were, but they were delicious.

Negative: Well, our car rental was super low, and their off-site parking, which was located about a block and a half away, was scraping the curb. You definitely need a car that rides higher than 4 inches to get into the parking lot without scraping the bottom, or the owners need to fix their driveway. A large truck, like a 4Runner or van, will be squeezing into the spots. In Ecuador, I have noticed that when you pay propinas/tips with your credit card, the owners don't necessarily give those tips to their staff. Not cool. The staff there are very hard-working and eager to please. I've stayed at some extremely nice places, and nowhere have the staff been as eager to please, friendlier than at Hotel Sacha Golden and Restaurant. I wanted to pay them myself. We did tip them cash for the out-of-the-way efforts they put into their work. I suggest increasing their pay for the efforts they are putting into your hotel and putting into place a policy that the tips they receive from credit cards are shared among the workers that served the guest(s) or distributed among those that worked that shift. Lastly, you need a separate section for your restaurant on Booking and in Google. It has exceptional food and service.

Positive: Hotel is brand new and it was clean. Great breakfast and location, 3 blocks from plaza de ponchos. Friendly Staff, they even offered a dessert as courtesy.

Negative: There is no parking in the premises, though the hotel offers you a private parking near by the hotel at no additional cost.

Summary: Great hotel! I will definitely come back!
