Positive: You really felt like you stepped back in time . The place had so much character.

Negative: I know the spa is not really connected to the hotel. But l got a wonderful massage but was disappointed l could only use the pool after . Was told to get out of the jacuzzi as l can’t use it . Very embarrassing and it should be included if you use the spa .

Summary: I really enjoyed my stay . The hotel is wonderful and l got kindly upgraded to a suite which was huge and amazing .

Positive: Lovely position, authentic medieval-like vintage environment, large spaces, careful but restrained, pure interior design, rich collection of old pictures, oil prints and paintings (no repros or prints) all over on the walls, attentive and kind staff, excellent really5* breakfast selection

Negative: There was a little misunderstanding about the reservation and the pricing, most probanly due to the ambiguity of Booking.com's online reservation system, but the receptionists have been excellently helpful and generous to clear the issue.

Positive: We loved this hotel! It was very comfortable with really beautiful character - we loved the architecture, the artwork and the furniture in the rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the location is excellent- very central with amazing views of the town. We were only there for one night but will definitely be back in the future!

Positive: The location is great and at some point around 1995 this would aspire to be the most prestigious hotel in Krumlov.

Negative: It has been hardly maintained since 1995. All the furniture, bathrooms seem frozen in time. They are majestic, just unmaintained and unserviced. Fallen of pieces and screwed back into place in a ruff manner and it leaves a sad impression. We also wanted to park, but we were told the hotel parking is full (even though we saw it was not when we walked by). I guess the staff did not want to bother letting us to parking lot. We were directed to public parking which is by far the most expensive parking place in Krumlov charging hourly rate instead of daily rate like the other public parking spaces. Thus we overpaid around 60 EUR for parking.

Positive: We loved stay at the hotel as it was really close to the town center. You must remember it is not new build hotel, therefore it has some magic staying in little older room but that is nice as well. Staff were friendly and we were very satisfied. As it is in town, we parked car little bit behind the city but by walking distance.

Summary: Great experience, nice hotel and we loved staying there.

Positive: Very satisfied with the hotel accommodation environment, Quiet and comfortable, elegantly decorated lobby relaxing, The front desk staff are friendly and willing to serve guests. Delicious breakfast with many choices Surprisingly, Chinese fried rice is served Hope to come again next time
